Ideas to life
UniServices brings together researchers, investors, businesses, governments and communities to turn research into impact.
Wholly owned by Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, we are a not-for-profit, stand-alone company that provides support to researchers by helping them bring their ideas to life. We do this in a number of ways.
We manage the University of ߣߣƵInventors’ Fund, which aims to transform the University’s intellectual property and research into high-growth global companies. We make investment decisions based on the recommendations of investment committees.
We also run services, projects and programmes that build on University research to deliver positive impacts in areas such as professional workforce learning and development as well as innovations in education, health and public policy.
Who we are
Since 1988, UniServices has acted as kaihono – those who link people to people and people to projects – bridging academia with business, government, and communities. Everything we do is underpinned by our values and guided by our purpose to create a better future for all.
